Sad News: Recently, Janelle Brown shared heartbreaking news: “She has lost a loved one.”
In the final scene of the reality program ‘Sister Wives’ aired on November 16, a tribute was made to Angela Moody, a close friend of cast member Janelle Brown, shocking viewers.
Angela passed away at the age of 51 on October 1 in Flagstaff, Arizona, and the network TLC included a message at the end of the episode stating “In memory of Angela Moody” along with her photo.
Angela became Janelle’s closest friend after Janelle moved from Utah to Flagstaff, Arizona, and has appeared in several episodes as Janelle’s strong supporter.
In this episode, a scene was aired where Janelle dined with friends before negotiating the sale of real estate with her ex-husband Cody Brown.
According to the obituary from Noble Owens Mortuary, Angela had the greatest talent of “caring for others” and possessed a “heart that never stopped and a spirit that never said no”.
The obituary noted, “She was always the first to show up and lend a helping hand, and she had a special way of making everyone feel like family,” highlighting her generosity.

Angela’s husband Craig Moody posted a lengthy message on Facebook expressing his feelings about his wife’s death. He began with, “Angela was deeply loved. Most of you did not know the demons she faced.”
Moody confessed, “The last seven years were filled with pain, and to be honest, I lost the woman I fell in love with at least six years ago.”
He revealed that his wife had suffered from opioid addiction for the past seven years. He expressed anger over the opioid pandemic and over-prescription, stating, “You stole her from me,” and conveyed the pain of addiction, saying, “I did everything in my power to help her, but ultimately she had to want recovery more herself.”
Immediately after the broadcast, Janelle shared on Instagram, “I have been thinking a lot about friendship at this stage of life. I feel deep gratitude for the friends who helped me during my darkest times,” paying tribute to her friend.
Angela is survived by her husband and three children, Nicholas, Taylor, Isaac, and three grandchildren, with a fourth grandchild on the way.
