Brick Is Back! Stephen A. Smith Confirms His Return to General Hospital

Where there’s a Brick, there’s a way. Your favorite General Hospital recurring star, Stephen A. Smith, is coming back to shake things up in Port Charles!

In a new Instagram reel, a caller phoned in asking Stephen for a special favor; to wish his mom a happy birthday. Turns out, she’s a huge General Hospital fan and an even bigger fan of Brick.

When she got on the line, she was over the moon, and Stephen wasted no time making her day even better. No just with a birthday wish, but with some exciting news.

After wishing her a happy birthday, he revealed:

“And by the way, I got to come back out west next week to take a few days of scenes for General Hospital. So you’ll be seeing me on General Hospital again in the weeks to come.”

Smith first appeared on the ABC soap back in 2007, making his acting debut in a brief cameo as a TV reporter.

But it was his March 31, 2016 debut as Brick, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) trusted tech-savvy “fixer” — that really cemented his spot in GH history.

Since then, he’s been popping in and out of Port Charles whenever Sonny needs someone to handle a little business.

So what’s bringing Brick back this time? Could Sonny need his right-hand man to deal with something? Sonny has his hands full with family drama, and his ongoing battle with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
