Budding bikini model Layla Taylor, 25, admitted that she’d been using GLP-1 weight loss drugs to keep thin during a spa day with friends Miranda McWhorter and Jessi Draper.
When asked about how she feels about modeling, Layla got real with her pals.
“I’m trying to keep my expectations low. I put a lot of self-worth into my image,” she said as she sat in a cold plunge pool.
“My brain automatically thinks, I’m not small enough, I’m not pretty enough, I feel like I weigh too much,” Layla said, before admitting she’s 99 pounds at 5 feet, 10 inches tall.
“Do you know that’s not super healthy? And when I say healthy, I don’t mean big, healthy is strong,” a concerned Jessi said.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be small enough in my head, and I know it’s affecting me,” Layla said.
“I’m so exhausted all the time because I don’t eat, and my body hurts every night when I go to bed…I know that it’s going too far and I’m taking it too far, but I can’t stop.”
Layla then revealed her weight loss drug use in a confessional.
“I have been using weight loss drugs, GLP-1s for about a year I would say. I initially got on them because I feel like I had stubborn weight I couldn’t get off, but the thing is, people don’t talk about how addicting this is, and how hard it is to get off.”
Jessi then said the MomTok women and Mormon Wives fans are all concerned about her.
“I feel like for a long time there, people calling me ill or saying I look sick or too thin, it was almost a dopamine rush for me, because with an eating disorder, ok, someone is noticing all this work I’m putting into this to look this way.”
“I don’t know how to stop.”
The women hugged her and assured her they would be there for her as she tries to cope with her issues.
In a previous season, Layla talked about her past struggle with eating disorders, self-harming, and mental health.
“I haven’t self-harmed in a long time, which is good. I got my scars removed, and I’m trying to move past that,” she said on the Season 2 reunion.
Layla is a mom of two sons with her ex-husband, Clayton Wessel.
As The U.S. Sun previously reported, Layla first filed divorce papers in January 2024.
In the 2025 divorce decree, she and her ex were given joint physical and legal custody of their kids.
After the separation, she dated Mason McWhorter, but the couple has since split.
