General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina’s Panic Sparks Shocking Justifications That Could Change Everything!
Will Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) ever learn to take true accountability for her actions? For the last year, Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) daughter has been on a non-stop spiral, one that has led to the attempted murder of the wrong person.
After blaming Ava Jerome (Maura West) for nearly every bad thing that has ever happened in her life, Kristina decided to cut the brakes on her car.
The problem is, Kristina accidentally cut the brakes on Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) car, nearly killing him and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebeca Herbst) instead.
Alexis Finally Told Kristina That Her Secret Isn’t Actually A Secret
After weeks of watching Kristina alternate between claiming to be a changed and forgiving woman to someone still blaming everyone else for her own actions, she finally knows the truth.
Alexis wanted to have her court-committed as a way of actually keeping her out of jail. Kristina thought that she had everything under control, and now she knows that both Ric and Ava know exactly what she has done.
Not only that, but they have her on video in the parking garage, and they have the car with the cut brake lines. Everything that is necessary to convict Kristina on three attempted murder charges.
Just when she thinks that it can’t get any worse, Alexis tells her daughter that Ric and Ava have been blackmailing her, and the money has been embezzled from the Cassadines. Rather than commit Kristina for the mental help that she so obviously needs, Alexis instead has paid to keep Ric and Ava from going to the police.
Kristina Still Tries To Justify Everything
Once Kristina wraps her head around the situation, she, of course, volunteers to turn herself in and tell the truth. Not because she would ever actually do it, but because she knows that her protective mother will talk her out of it.
Now that Alexis is being blackmailed, coming clean is barely an option because with help from Ava and Ric, they both can go to jail for years.
Kristina still doesn’t really believe that she has done anything wrong. She believes that Ava deserves to die, and Ric isn’t too far behind her.
After all, he represented Ava against Kristina in the case involving her baby, and now he is representing her brother’s wife in their custody mess. Ric is just as much the enemy as Ava is.
Will Kristina ever be held accountable for her crimes, and is she setting herself up to commit even more?
