CASTING NEWS‼️ TWO To Return This July Per SOAP OPERA DIGEST, Jequan Jackson and Robert Gossett, Quinn and Marshall Asford, respectively, will be headed back to the ABC sudser next month. Jackson was last seen as PCU student Quinn in February 2025, while Gossett put in an appearance on December 1, 2025.

General Hospital continues to make major casting moves as it heads into summer, and Soap Opera Digest has learned that two familiar faces — both of whom have ties to the Ashford family — are set to return to Port Charles

Quinn and Marshall Return

The two actors slated to pop back into the GH universe this summer are Jequan Jackson, who will be reprising the role of Quinn, and two-time Daytime Emmy winner Robert Gossett, who plays Curtis’s (Donnell Turner) father, Marshall Ashford.

Jackson made his Port Charles debut in November 2024, joining the cast in a recurring capacity as a football-playing PCU pal of Kai’s. The actor had come to the attention of the show’s producers after auditioning for the role of Kai, which went to Jens Austin Astrup. His last appearance on GH took place in February 2025.

In his final episodes, which took place shortly after Kai sustained a career-ending football injury, Quinn lashed out at Trina (Tabyana Ali), blaming her for Kai’s split focus and suggesting she was responsible for him getting hurt.

Gossett’s roots on the show stretch back further. His first appearance as Marshall took place in November 2021, and the following April, the actor was put on contract.

In 2024, Gossett went back on recurring status and Marshall moved away from Port Charles to tour as a musician. Gossett has returned multiple times since then for Marshall to visit his family, most recently in December 2025.

Gossett won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2023 and 2024.

Marshall’s imminent trip to town will come at a dramatic juncture in the life of his son. Not only is Curtis poised to welcome a new child with his estranged wife, Portia (Brook Kerr), but he recently found himself in handcuffs after losing his cool with Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), Portia’s lover.

Curtis suspects that Isaiah was the driver who caused a distracted Jordan (Tanisha Harper) to crash her car into a guardrail, sustaining significant injuries to her face, and when the two men got into a heated argument, Curtis decked him. Isaiah, a surgeon, sustained damage to his hand and may not be able to operate again and intends to take Curtis to court.

Expect to see Quinn and Marshall on-screen again sometime in July.
