Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers for Friday, August 22, reveal that someone attacks Chelsea, and Dani and Naomi receive terrible news from Anita and Vernon.
Someone Attacks Chelsea
It’s a huge moment in their lives. Kat (Colby Muhammad) and Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) have always been more like best friends than cousins, and now they’re about to launch something that means the world to them, their purse line, ChelseaKat.
Before the big launch party, the two share a heart-to-heart. Naturally, they’re excited, hopeful, and determined to make it a success. But… could danger be waiting in the wings?
Just as things seem to be going well, something dark creeps into the picture. As we saw in the promo, Chelsea is sitting when someone steps out of the shadows. Dressed in a black leather jacket and gloves, the figure approaches her from behind and chloroforms her.
Who is behind the attack? What do they want with Chelsea?
Ted Seeks Bill’s Advice
Meanwhile, divorce may be the last “D” word Ted (Keith D. Robinson) wants to hear, but it’s definitely on his mind now that Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) has officially filed for hers. He had been holding on to hope that they could somehow work through their issues and find their way back to each other. But that hope is slipping fast.
Nicole has made it clear she’s ready to move on, despite all of Ted’s efforts to win her back and ask for forgiveness. Now, with the reality starting to sink in, Ted turns to Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) for legal help.
But what kind of legal expertise is he after? Is Ted gearing up for a fight… or is he just trying to protect what little he has left?
Anita and Vernon Share Terrible News
Beyond the Gates spoilers for August 22 also reveal that Dani (Karla Mosley) and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) receive some terrible news from Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis).
And from the sound of it, the drama surrounding Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) and her new fortune isn’t dying down anytime soon. In fact, it may be just getting started.
Like Anita, neither Dani nor Naomi are exactly fans of Leslie, and if the news is about her, it’s bound to stir up more tension.
