🚨 Josh Duggar’s Lawyer Raises Alarming Fears for His Life After Prison Transfer Alongside Joe Exotic

Josh Duggar’s attorney is pushing back on speculation surrounding the convicted sex offender’s recent prison transfer, insisting the move has nothing to do with his client’s physical condition.

As In Touch previously reported, Duggar, 38, was transferred on May 29 from Federal Correctional Institute, Seagoville in Texas — where he had been held since June 2022 — to Federal Medical Center, Fort Worth. The nature of the receiving facility immediately raised eyebrows, as it is a federal medical center rather than a standard correctional institution. Duggar shares his new facility with Joe Exotic, 63, who is serving a 21-year sentence there while battling prostate cancer.

Josh Duggar's Lawyer Addresses Former Reality Star's Health After Transfer to Prison With Joe Exotic

Duggar’s lawyer, Beau Brindley, addressed the transfer while speaking to TMZ on Monday, June 15, claiming the move was simply part of a “routine” transfer and that his client was doing “fine.”

The outlet reached out to the Federal Bureau of Prisons for comment, but a BOP representative declined to discuss Duggar’s health status, citing privacy laws.

Duggar remains behind bars following his 2021 conviction for receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material — a case In Touch first broke in 2015. His conviction led to multiple failed appeals, with a fourth still pending.

Duggar’s situation has only worsened in recent months. His prison sentence has been extended three separate times and is now set to run through February 2, 2033. In April, his cousin Amy King claimed in a TikTok video that the extensions stem from rule violations, saying, “He’s lost more good time credit because of his rule violations,” speculating that a cell phone infraction may have been involved.

Duggar was formerly a star on 19 Kids and Counting, the TLC reality series that chronicled his family’s life before being pulled from the air following his scandal.
